I bought an Apple gift card from a store and found out it was already redeemed
Apple will not give me a new redeemable code for new 500.00 card. Its messed up so am I.

And what did the store say? It is likely that the scam occurred at the store if the gift cards are sold on a rack where anyone can tamper with them. Only make gift card purchases from retailers where they are secured behind a counter to avoid these scams.
