Just trying to figure out if I can pay with actual money at an Apple Store; can't get thru to Apple to ask my question. AI is not always the answer.

Call your closest Apple Store, or stop by to talk in person. Ask them directly.

And people here probably probably can't answer either. Apple has stores all over the world. Policies may vary from country to country.
