You'll need to be significantly more specific about what you are attempting to achieve. "Search" is a system level function that, of itself, cannot be disabled.
Perhaps you refer to something related to a specific App? In what circumstances do you see a function that you would like to suppress?
Perhaps you can post a screenshot - as this might help you to illustrate the issue with which you need to help. You can use markup tools to highlight specific areas of the captured image - and/or redact any sensitive or personal information before uploading the image:
