Favicon in the Fvorites Bar

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to switch to Safari as the default browser, unfortunately I don't see the icons in the bookmarks bar.

No favicon

I tried to install Faviconographer but I get the attached message. He says safari has this option now. How do I activate it?

Favicons don't match in Safari I have a Mac Mini M1, using Safari version 18.6 and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1. I have several favorites in the left pane under Bookmarks, and also on my Start Page. All the websites in the left pane have the correct favicon. However, several favicons on Safari's Start Page do not match the favicons in the left pane. They either have an incorrect favicon, or just a gray box with the first capital letter in the name underneath the favicon. How do I get the favicons on the Safari Start Page to match those in the left pane?

Safari 18 also missing FavIcons. Team, Is there something I’m doing wrong, or could this be an issue with Safari 18? I have a lot of bookmarks, as I use Safari to organize my architectural library, which includes product catalogs for construction materials. The bookmarks are organized within the MasterFormat, with subfolders for each subcategory. I’ve tried everything—deleting the FavIcon folder, revisiting the web pages to regenerate the FavIcons—but every time I quit and reopen Safari, all the icons are deleted automatically. I’ve spent at least a week updating the FavIcons, but they don’t remain visible after restarting Safari. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
