I am trying to transfer my RAW files to my LaCie backup with 1.82TB of space using my MacBook Air and it keeps crashing.
I see threads saying the OM1 was not supported by Apple in 2022. Surely it is now supported, it is a very popular camera used by both professional and amateur photographers

If you are asking about Olympus OM-1, it is supported on macOS 14.4.1 Sonoma
Hold down the Option key and go to the ➙ System Information menu option. Once in the System Information click on the RAW Support in the sidebar under Software:
That will show you all of the cameras that your system supports. If the OM1 camera is not there then you'll need use Adobe's RAW Converter until OM gets the necessary data to Apple for inclusion into the next system update.
