iTunes Gifts that were no good . How do I know if they were bought that way or if they were used with out my knowledge

I bought iTunes on 4/29 and gave them to my friend when they y went to redeem them they were already redeemed. What can I do about this!?

Nothing. Your friend can follow the steps in this guide: If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card - Apple Support
