Will the new magic keyboard release today (5/7/2024) work with the iPad Pro 12.9 4 generation? Currently running 17.4.1 OS

Apple's documentation and website state that its only compatible with the new iPad Pro models, probably due to the change in thickness, and maybe the placement of the magnetic connector.
But until someone gets them in hand and tries them out on previous models we won't know for sure.
Most likely it is not going to be able to. Seeing how they have changed the hardware layout on the devices as far as the front camera, and where the Apple Pencil connects, it is probably not going to support the older devices as they will have different areas where the magnets are and how things layout on the device.
Once they are released and people get time to see if it we will then be able to know for sure.
The Magic Keyboard they show on the Apple Store with the new iPad Air (13”) M2 doesn’t have that extra row of keys they showed with the iPad Pro OLED devices. The one in the Apple Store is $349 USD.
Is New Magic keyboard compatable with iPad Pro 4th generation.
