How to see passwords on screen sharing iPhone.

I have an iPhone with a broken screen I’m trying to use. I can’t see anything at all but the phone is still able to be touched. So easy solution, I connect it to my tv through a hdmi adapter I have. But here’s the problem. I’m trying to download apps but Face ID doesn’t work (most likely because of the cracked screen) and when I try to enter my password I can’t see my keyboard or what I’m typing most likely because of some security feature Apple added or something. If there is a way around this to where I can see what I’m typing for my password and security and everything, it would be appreciated
