How to resolve group Messages glitches on my iPhone

Recently my phone has been glitching with group messages. I will be in a group message and someone will change the cover photo and minutes later it will say I changed it back when I didn’t! Or it will say I removed someone from the group chat when I didn’t! It’s becoming a reoccurring problem and super awkward. I don’t know what to do!
