lists vanished from Reminders

I use Reminders extensively to organize my life. I have several lists and routinely access them on both my iPhone and my desktop Mac. Today, only one list is visible on my desktop. I'm sure I did not delete the others, and they still appear on my iPhone. I restarted my computer but that didn't solve the problem. Ideas? I really need to get these lists back on my computer.
