this morning I went to use Whats App on my phone and must have hit a wrong button because suddenly it started recording me. I tried to stop it and get back to my Whats aPp chats but without success. I have no idea how to get out of this screen and get back to my normal Whats App - help please,

Try and force restart your iPhone to see if the issues persist
For newer iPhones:
Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Press and hold the side button.When the Apple logo appears, release the side button
If you're indeed on iPhone 6S try this
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
