How to fix unresponsive O, L, and 9 keys on MacBook Pro

Hey there,

I've been using my M1 2020 Macbook pro for 3 years now with no keyboard issues until tonight. However, now my O,L, and 9 keys stop working for periods of time. This has never happened before. Asking for a potential solution.

Keyboard issue with strange diagonal keys 6YHN & spacebar I am facing issues with the keypad of my MacBook Air M2 in which it's pretty strange that the diagonal keys 6YHN and the space bar is not working. And the other interesting thing is that these keys would work only if you press them along with any other keys. For example, if you press them with the caps lock or the shift or any other keys, these key starts working. This is pretty strange and really frustrating from a 1.5 year old MacBook. Apple should seriously consider this issues and call back devices that have these faulty issues. If anyone knows the fix for this or if it's a software issue or if it's a hard issue, please let me know PS: I'm typing this through voice command [Edited by Moderator]

MacBook Air m3 keyboard not responding My MacBook Air m3 keyboard randomly stopped working. The day before I noticed the keys were not responding sometimes and then I woke up the next day tried typing in my password and no response. Since then I have had to spam click keys in order to get it to work but still it is not responding sometimes and is slow. Since yesterday It has fully stopped working no matter how hard I try to get it to type. Any suggestions? [Re-Titled by Moderator] Original Title: MacBook keyboard

Try an external keyboard and see if you see the same problem. I don't know of any settings which would affect just those 3 keys, so it may be that the internal keyboard is showing signs of damage.
