I am unable to add my iCloud.com email address on my Mac

Anyone else been unable to add an icloud.com email address on their Mac? It appears on my iPad and iPhone but cannot get it added back on my Mac

My emails had stopped sending/receiving so I deleted the account on my Mac and have been trying to add it back in - it appears on my iPhone and iPad but I c ant get it added back on my Mac.
