What Numbers forumula should I use to organize recipes?

I have a recipe list in Numbers that I would like to also organize into types of protein used. I'm struggling with the formula to use. What you see is a XLOOKUP formula, but you can see it's struggling with empty cells and repeating itself. Any clue as to what I should do?
