Question on touch sensitivity, does my iPad gen 7 have/use it?

Not normally an apple guy but I use it for drawing on procreate and recently realized my stylus doesn’t work with touch sensitivity for some brushes so I’m wondering if my iPad (7th generation) uses touch sensitivity with apple pencils or if I’ll have to upgrade my iPad as well.
