iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera Issue with Circular Ripple at the center of photos

Subject: Camera Issue with Northern Lights Photos

Dear Apple Support,

Last night, while capturing photos of the Northern Lights with my iPhone, I noticed a circular ripple in the center of each pictures!

This distortion affects the image quality. Can you help address this issue?

No, it looks more like a diffraction pattern, but I agree it may be a form of lens flare or a result of the small aperture of the lens.

I see it in some of my aurora iphone photos as well, In the exact center of the image. But only in the ones that have the bright moon in them. "My" moon was partially obscured by clouds, which might explain why the rings are less pronounced in my image. The defect might need a bright light source (i.e. the moon) in an otherwise fairly dark scene.
