MacOS & iOS Photos not recognizing one face

Photos does a pretty good job identifying faces in my library and for the most part gets everyone correct. For Some reason though... photos has stopped identifying ME in any of my photos. Any ideas how to get it to start finding me again?

Mac mini, macOS 14.4

Does Photos label the faces of ME with "unnamed," or does it not even recognize ME as a face? There's a difference between not recognizing "a face" and not recognizing "ME's face," and solutions would be different.

Have you added new pictures with faces of ME in them since this started?

Have you gone to the bottom of the ME person page and clicked on "Confirm Additional Photos?"

If Photos has already scanned pictures and not found any face where ME is, then it won't scan again. You may have to export the originals to a safe folder on your Desktop, delete the pictures in Photos, and re-import.

So I understand that these pictures of ME are scanned, recognized as faces, but they are labeled "unnamed." How long has it been since you added new pictures with faces of ME in them? It seems to me that it can take weeks, even if you've used the Confirm Additional Photos". I have had it miss "unnamed" faces and then pick them up later. But there always seems to be a few left over.

You can try re-impoting the pictures to see if that works.

Thank you @Richard.Taylor

Ok so I see I didn't do a very good job of explaining my issue. So the photos library does its thing without issue and pretty accurately finds the correct faces for the people I have in my library. But for some reason it's not finding photos of Me (personally). Yes I know what I look like but want to be able to create some smart albums of myself with specific family members/friends etc. It's just weird. As I go through photos both new and old I find myself having to manually type my name in as it says "unnamed". It's just bizarre that it's only pictures of myself this is happening with. Photos seems to identify everyone else just fine.

Now, my 2 daughters look a lot like me, but it finds their faces just fine, I also look a lot like one of my sisters, which photos identifies pictures of her too. Could it be that I possibly said NO to a photo of one of my family members that looks like me and in turn that removed the possibility of photos identifying me in more pictures?

I have gone to the bottom of my photos page and tried to confirm additional photos but it only says "there don't appear to be any additional photos of Kati"

Just wish there was a way to reset the face finding process. I have gone into photos>settings and Clicked "Reset Suggested People & Pets" but that hasn't seemed to help. :( Was hoping Someone might know another trick.
