If this video codec doesn't work, how can I convert it to an importable one?

Kind: MPEG-4 movie

Size: 90.83 GB

Dimensions: 3840x2160

Codec: MPEG-4 AAC, av01

Also once imported, what project settings should I use to maintain 4k quality when exported?

First time editing with 4k footage. Thanks

AV1 is only supported on the newest Macs. Handbrake can convert it.
