Apple Podcast Connect: Not uploading mp3 file

Hi guys!

I have been trying to upload my mp3 file. When uploading, it says it has been 100% processed and uploaded. When I go look after, there is not an episode present. I have tried different types of audio files, old files that I have preivously uploaded and I get the same result. It will not upload the file to be published even though it says it has been 100% processed.

See below where I am talking about. Any ideas?

I am having the exact same issue. I have tried contacting apple podcast support but haven't heard anything back yet. No matter what I try, the file will upload 100% and then when I scroll down to see the audio, nothing is there. Very weird and I have troubleshot the issue in every way I can think of. At a loss here.

Has anyone figured anything out/heard anything from apple podcasts support? I have been having this issue since Friday and have submit three support requests since then and heard nothing. Truly unreal that this is a paid service and there is no way to get real-time support on a significant issue. Extremely disappointed in apple podcasts right now.

Yes, I have been in convo with them since Thursday. They've asked for a HAR document, couple of screen recordings and the files I was trying to publish.

Nothing on a timeline on when this will be resolved or how they plan to compensate for the loss of audiences (we post daily and we're getting hurt by this)

And on another note, the first interactions gave a certain tone of "this is your fault" and until I shared this discussion thread with them I feel like I wasn't taken seriously or that the urgency to it wasn't there. Subpar services, in my opinion.

I’m abit confused by the RSS feed, if I put this into Apple does it affect my Spotify analytics and listener experience etc?

Listeners will see the two as separate presentations of the same podcast. It's a bit like posting the same article on Twitter (sorry, 'X') and Facebook.

As I assume your media files are hosted on Spotify, any access through Apple (which does not cache the media files) will presumably show in Spotify analytics (unless it differentiates between direct access and access through the feed).

This is exactly how I was able to get through this issue as well. Apple Support pointed me towards this (after all the runaround of a screen recording, browser version numbers, etc). Once I completed it all, the uploads went through without issue.

I sent the feedback that there should be some form of notification on screen as to why the upload was being blocked, and not the silent failures that were/are happening. What a horrendous user experience, and how ridiculous to randomly implement this. (I don't even allow/have paid subscriptions on my podcast, so I totally ignored those things up to this point.) <sigh>
