Can you connect a Chromebook to a iMac using thunderbolt?

If a Chromebook has a thunderbolt port can you use it to connect to a iMac to use as a second display

If you're asking if you can use a 24" M3 iMac as a Target Display Mode monitor for a ChromeBook, the answer is No.


Target Display Mode went away in Late 2014 when the first 27" 5K Retina iMac came out. The 24" M3 iMac doesn't support it, and is not set up to act as an external display for any computer (Mac, PC, or ChromeBook).
