Increaseing RMS in Garageband

I found an answer regarding increasing RMS in garageband in the community chat from 2 years ago that said your settings should be set at what I have inserted. Mine are aleady set exactly this way and yet ACX is saying that my RMS (dB RMS) is too low for my audiobook submission. My files are reading -24.8 dB and they are saying they need to be at least 1.8 dB. What do I need to do?

GarageBand recording audio cuts out above certain decibel When recording audio on Garageband, it doesn't record audio above a certain decibel. I've tried resetting controls and I can record audio through the same equipment for other apps with no issues. It's just an issue on GarageBand. I don't know how to fix this. GarageBand audio duplicating and repeating after recording is stopped Create new track (opt/cmd/N), record - audio track appears normal as it records, hit spacebar to stop and audio file duplicates itself after the play head. This is a new problem on previously fully functioning project. I can still record but have to select/delete the duplicate files after. Have uninstalled and re-installed GB a few times but this has not resolved the problem. Can anyone help? Thanks. Martin
