I have a Sales Tax Exemption Card from Oklahoma as a 100% Disabled Veteran. Can my account status be updated so the exemption applies automatically to any Apple online purchase, or must I ask for that exemption in each purchase? How would I do that in either case that is allowed?

There is no automated process to always show tax exempt status for your orders. You will need to show proof of exemption on each order or request the refund from your Tax Authority.
