How can I play Blu-Ray movies on VLC using an ASUS External Writer?

I purchased an external ASUS External Blu-Ray writer model BW-16D1X-U. I have been trying to use VLC to play movies with it but the program says I need AACS which I have downloaded and install where I was told to place the library. Still not working not sure what else to do. I was told by a employee at the Apple store to try here.

Rather than mess with VLC and the potentially outdated instructions for adding Blu-Ray support to it, I would get the free MacGo Blu-Ray Player Pro. Unless you pay for it, a small watermark will be present on the playback and it does not support 4K UltraHD Discs.

My Pioneer BDU-X13U-S 4K UltraHD burner will mount said Disc on the Sonoma 14.4.1 Desktop of my M2 Mac Mini Pro but I have no software to play the video.
