Macbook Pros have been in continuous production since 2006 in a number of case configurations and logic board variations. A 2015 Ford may not ha the same issues as a 2014. Same with computers. Please do "About this Mac...." from your Apple menu and tell us what SUB-MODEL of Macbook Pro you have:

Please include the screen size and any modifiers to the date like Early,Mid, or Late. For security reasons, please DO NOT post the serial number.

Display issues are hard to diagnose but there ae some tests you can do at home:

1—while the display is on, manually change the angle of the display by moving it a few degrees back and forth. Flickering while it it move suggest a worn display cable. Depending on what Macbook Pro this is, that could be a very cheap or a very expensive repair.

2—If you have a external monitor you can connect to your Macbook Pro, see if the issue repeats on the external. If not, that suggests an issue within the display unit itself. If it repeats on the external, that suggests a more serious issue in the video hardware on the logic board.

Not a good sign.

You can try plugging in an external monitor as work around and compare your results...
