Apple watch sync issue with apple music from I phone

Apple suggests two way to sync music with watch .

1. For the apple music subscribers ( direct on watch)
2. For those who is not having subscription can do from iPhone

But I don't have subscription. But I am unable to sync music with watch when I add play list from Iphone.

When I add from iPhone it starts but disappearing with out any out put error message.

Apple support is helpless and they are asking to take the subscription.

I don't want to carry the phone while jogging to listen music.

What is the alternate way. Watch is 8 and non cellular
