cin::peek(). or something for keybard input to signal program shutdown.

I am writing a small program that monitors files, and it has a run loop. But I need a clean way to shut it down with ctrl z. Unfortunately not much luck here. Also having issues running the app because it doesn't have permissions to the folder it needs to monitor. I can run in debug because it auto asks for those. But it doesn't behave the same from compiled.

Seems few of us in the Apple Community have the expertise you need, or maybe just haven't viewed your request.

Wondering if someone in the developer forums has the expertise & would be willing to assist you:

Eg: Developer Forums:

All the best :-)
