Can't move iTunes Music folder from from one drive to another (error -36)" download.mp3 can not be copied"

i got a message that one of my HDD external drives is failing, so I've moved all the files to another external hard drive. Unfortunately, the one folder I'm not able to transfer is the "iTunes Music Folder".

Whenever i try, I get a message that the file "download.mp3" can not be copied, because i don't have permissions.

I tried to change permissions, but i always get an error

I tried copying to different discs to no avail.

I tried to create a disc image of the folder, but still no luck.

I don't want to lose my iTunes folder, because it contains many files which aren't on Apple Music.

I'm using a MacMini 2012 on Mojave

has anyone had an experience with this?

Thanks in Advance!
