I want my 2019 mac laptop to startup only with the power button. I do NOT want it to start up with any key or upon opening. It should be MY choice, not forced upon me. Terrible change. Is there a way to do this???

That's too bad. It's not something I want. I constantly start my computer without meaning to, and then have to shut it down. How do we get this to be an option instead of 'forced upon us'?
How do I get my Mac to startup only using the power button? Like it used to be for years and years. VERY annoying new feature by the way.
