System macos Sonoma 14.4.1 on external hard drive cannot be upgraded to 14.5

As shown in the picture, the left side of the name “Wi-Fi” an external system, I have tried four times through the system settings in the software update to upgrade to 14.5, each time prompted to reboot, you can see the system reboot after the logo and the progress bar, after about 20 minutes, and then automatically enter the system, but still the system for 14.4 .1, and repeatedly so:

To do this, I downloaded the full 14.5 version on another drive via the “Creating a bootable macOS installer” article, and successfully upgraded the system on the internal hard disk to 14.5, which I did again by installing it by pressing and holding the power button on the external hard disk called “Wi-Fi”, which still rebooted into the system when it reached the progress bar. “I again upgraded the external drive called ‘Wi-Fi’ by long-pressing the power button to install it, and it still rebooted into the system automatically when it reached the progress bar, and it was still 14.4.1

I do another install in the system, this is the install screen this time, and now it's letting me click reboot:

This is the installer log:
