NUMBERS loads random values into PIE CHART instead of selected cell values.

The chart looks good, but the values are NOT what are in the cells selected. Instead, Numbers is not just rounding up or down, but adding whole numbers up or down. For example, 30.0% is in the selected cell for a wedge. Numbers displays 32%.

How do I fix this since Numbers won't allow me to manually override what it loads?

Force Pie Chart to be 100% in Numbers I've created a few pie and donut charts in Apple Numbers recently and noticed they do not add up to 100% unless decimal places are used. If forgoing the decimal places, I usually get a chart with 101% as the total. This does not appear to be an issue with Microsoft Excel. Since I'm using the charts in an infographic, we want to avoid the decimal places if possible. Any recommendations to force the pie chart to be 100% when calculated? Pie chart issue: numbers displaying with way too many decimals, no way to change this??? Not sure what's going with Numbers. In my duration column, minutes and seconds are displaying normally. But yet when shown in the chart, some of the duration data is showing up with way too many digits after the period. For example why does 15 min 2 sec in the table show up as 15m 2.39999999999998 in the pie chart???

How to make charts work like Google Sheets? What am I missing? In Google Sheets, I can select a column and just press 'chart' and it will immediately insert a chart of my liking. In this example, I have a column called "New Vs. Used" and there are 40 rows of data - all with random options like New or Used as values. Google Sheets will immediately create a pie chart for me that shows 51% new and 49% used. In Apple Numbers, this does not work at all. If I select the New vs. Used column, and choose Pie Chart, I would expect it to create a similar percentage based pie chart immediately. But it does not work. What do I not understand about the way Apple Numbers works vs. Google Sheets?

That's not how pie charts work. If your chart range is B2:B5, the first slice will be B2/SUM(B2:B5) as a percentage. The others will be similarly calculated. If the 30% in your table is not 30% of the total, which it appears to not be, it very well might be different on the pie chart.
