AirDrop on MacBook Air Sonoma

AirDrop uses both BlueTooth and Wifi to establish the connection. Restarting both devices is always the first step as even with a working internet connection on the router, this has resolved the problem for some.

• Are you experiencing the problem going both directions on your Sonoma Mac?
• Does the iPhone see the Sonoma Mac when you attempt to AirDrop, then fail?
• Have you tried setting the receiving device to AirDrop from Everyone to rule out a problems with the contacts information?

Restart Router and MacBook and try again.
