Hello! I need help with my apple pencil usb-c.
I just used it for taking down notes then I attached it back to the ipad's side. Minutes after, I noticed that the charging port is open and when I was about to close it, it won't. It would just slide halfway, stuck, and won't close. Do you have any idea what happened and what should I do to fix this?
Will it still get fixed?

Perhaps something is blocking the slide-mechanism.

Yes, I was planning to go to the store on the weekend. The pencil is working and charging very well. Do you think it's a factory defect or there's some cause to it?
With available information, it is impossible to definitively identify the cause - other than the possibility that something may have broken within the slide mechanism.
