Your Mac has Thunderbolt ports, right? Thunderbolt Bridge is a special mode in which you can connect two Macs using a Thunderbolt cable, and use that Thunderbolt cable to make a network connection between them.

While most home users think of networking in terms of Wi-Fi and the type of Ethernet that uses RJ45 connectors, TCP/IP is capable of running over all sorts of other physical layers.

It is perfectly normal to have a Thunderbolt Bridge entry in your Network control panel. If you have not set up that feature, you'll probably also see that the Thunderbolt Bridge interface is "Not connected." Settings may allow you to delete the service, but there is no need to do that, or benefit in doing so.
