How to connect to FTP on Mac? Connection process

I want to use FTP to transfer files, but I'm not sure about the process. Do I need to install some kind of client, or is there an inbuilt solution.

I don't quite get the connection process itself...

Please suggest the best working and reliable way for Mac.

Maybe a third-party solution that you have positive experience with.

Hi,

FTP command was deleted since High Sierra, so you need to reinstall ftp command with Homebrew

1) Install Homebrew.

2) Install FTP command.

3) Type $ "rehash" at command prompt.

4) Type $ "which ftp" at command prompt

/user/local/bin/ ftp

That is all, you can use ftp right now.
