I just bought a 24 iMac and this is the second time the mouse had started lagging. I have rebooted. I have opened Terminal and tried reconnecting bluetooth. Nothing is working yet. Does anyone have a solution? I have work to do!

Do you have a high speed USB cable or external drive near or in-between the iMac and mouse..?

Try moving the external hard drive behind or to the other side of the iMac away from the Mouse.
Yes, that could possibly be it. I upgraded my software and now it's ok. But if it happens again I will disconnect the external hard drive to see if that's the problem. Thanks so much for your time.
