Sonoma 14.5 Shortcuts fuction not working

After looking for the actual function behind the Take Screenshot, I found the terminal command line "screencapture" is actually doing the job. so I use the action "Run Shell Script" with "screencapture -ci" to replace the action "Take Screenshot" with custom interactively. It works perfectly.

I have the same problem after just updated to Sonoma 14.5.

The reason I update is after reading the security problem.

There are a few securities flaw related to the memory usage or memory address if I remember correctly.

It might be their updates that making the screenshot taking not working for Shortcuts.app but the native Screenshots.app is working properly.

So, anything screenshots related features invoked by Shortcuts is not working at the moment.

It is probably a bug.

I have tried to add shortcuts to Full Disk Access and Accessibility, Recordings. It is of no use.

I am not sure how to inform Apple about this flaw.

And I am not sure Native Screenshots is working but the Shortcuts level is not working.

Maybe it is the fact that Screenshots is a system utilities but Shortcuts is only a user application level.

Their privilege is different.

There was a workaround here.

Instead of the action to take a screenshot, I use Run command + Get from clipboard.

JingCodeGuy your suggestion was spot on. I already had a shortcut that stopped working, so i just edited it with some of your new steps and it worked also. It was just easier for me since I am a novice. Thanks again.
