Drop in to Specific HomePod like Alexa Drop in

I was wondering if anyone has heard if they’re going to bring the drop in feature to HomePods. This isn’t the “intercom” feature which is essentially an announcement.

Alexa allows you to directly drop in / call a specific dot and communicate live with those people in that room.

this is an awesome feature as it is like having a tree intercom feature in your house.

will Apple add this???
