my iphone 11 has no App Store icon

The App Store app can be hidden if Screen Time has been turned on to prevent downloading Apps.

Open the Settings App

Tap Screen Time

Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions

Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases

Make sure Installing, Deleting and In-App Purchases are marked Allow

If there were marked Don't Allow, that is why you can't find the App Store on your iPhone and by marking them Allow should return the app.

We don't know what you have tried, but if you have not yet tried the steps below, now would be a good time to do this.

Try keep swiping the Home screen left until you reach the App Library

The App Store is likely there. I not, type App Store in the search bar.

Hold the App Store icon and drag it back to where you want it.
