I noticed that in my library cache folder, there is a folder called “com.apple.MobileSMS”.
It is taking up over 7GB. What is it? Is it safe to delete?
My messages folder is 7.5GB.
Are my messages taking up space on my computer in two locations??

Not sure why you would want to delete the cache folder...
Are you having some larger issue?
I'd like the answer to this as well. The question is is it safe to delete? the reason is it's taking up sooooooo much disc space.
