Apple MacBook M1 Flickers post installation of Sonoma 14.5 OS

After I have installed MAC OS 14.5, I am experiencing screen flicker on my MacBook Air.

Nearly 75% of the screen keeps dancing from the time I see the apple logs as I start the system.

I tried connecting it to an external monitor and share my screen/ duplicate. The external screen is displaying it correctly.

I have tried taking screenshot as the screen flickers and attaching it here on this.

<I see when I am trying to take a screenshot of the issue experienced, the screenshot is not having lines. I wish I can update a video abt this.

Has anyone experience a similar issue and can the issue be resolved? Any suggestions

Try and boot the Mac in the safe mode to see if the issues persist

Start up your Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
  2. Wait for your Mac to shut down completely. A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black and any lights (including in the Touch Bar) are off.
  3. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until “Loading startup options” appears.
  4. Select a volume.
  5. Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.
  6. The computer restarts automatically. When the login window appears, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

If the issue is not persisting in the safe mode it is caused by an external piece of software, you might want to review the software installed to your Mac
