I am unable to convert Apple Music files to MP3

After reading various articles on converting Apple/itunes files to m3p files, the steps work but apple is still not letting you click on a song and then convert it, even holding down the shift key allows you to "convert" but nothing happens because it says it's not in my library which is not true!

All I want to do is add a song to an invitation I am sending for a party. The invite app will only accept m3p files. So now I have no music to accompany my invite--bummer.

I am going to delete/cancel Apple music and just limp along with iturnes that I've had forever. Of course itunes 3is Apple so I am screwed, I guess. Why does this have to be so complicated.......
