Change calendar text color to black on iPad

For persons with severe macular degeneration they cannot differentiate between text and a background that is in the same color family(example, dark red text on a light red background), thus they are unable to read events on the iPad apple calendar. Is there a way to turn all calendar text Dark Black with a different background to resolve this accessible issue?

we have tried all stock and custom calendar colors as well as “Increase Contrast” and “Reduce Transparency “. And have “Bold Text” and “ Larger Text” on.

We have also tried all of the color combinations including white.

Your help would be greatly appreciated !

You might experiment with key Accessibility settings that are intended to compensate for specific colour-vision issues -min particular Colour Filter settings. All of these settings affect all Apps:

Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size

If you need additional assistance, you might consider contacting Apple Support - and ask to speak with an Accessibility Specialist. These specialists are able to offer optimisation advice for a wide range of disability and sight issues.

You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
