Is the charger for iPhone 15 new?

iPhone doesn't come with a charger anymore as is common with most cell phones sold today. iPhone 15 uses USB C, not lightning and it does come with a USB C to USB C cable, so you will need a USB C charger and if you want to fast charge you need a charger at 20w. Apple sells them, BestBuy sells them, Amazon sells them.

If you are saying that the adapter works on your phone, but not on your daughter's phone, then there is an issue with your daughter's phone.

If your daughter does not have an iPhone 15, the phone that she does have may have a different port for charging. We assume that you have checked on this, correct?
