Unable to move images in word in iPad Pro

I have an ipad. I cannot move images in word. You can drag them once, but then, you are not allowed to drag them again or drag other images or paragraphs. This started to take place after the recent update

Images on Microsoft Word won’t MOVE on iPad I opened my iPad this morning which I use for microsoft word, one note, excel etc every single day. I open a word document, insert a screenshotted image and it won’t move. It does not matter if I change the wrap text or not. It WON’T move! No reason, no trigger. Opening the word file automatically with pages rather than MS word application In fact, I’d like to post a solution for issue rather than a question regarding word documents in files application of iPad. The problem was posted previously by one of the users and I want to help. The issue concerning word app that is downloaded on iPad and it used to automatically open all files in the word app but lately it started opening them in pages instead. The solution can be done simply by tap and hold any word document in files > share > word and thats it. I hope the problem is resolved now with best regards.
