Troubleshooting Guide: How to Fix Photo Access Issues on CapCut for iPad
CapCut for iPad can have problems related to accessing photos while using CapCut. I have researched some of the solutions which worked for me. My cousin tried all of the solutions but still it didn't work. Do you know any other solution? If yes, list any. I need to publish an article about the whole issue therefore help me. Here are some of the solutions to the problem:
Check CapCut Permissions in settings:
- Go to Settings on your device.
- Scroll down and find CapCut in the list of apps.
- Ensure that all relevant permissions, such as Photos and Camera, are enabled.
Manually Grant Photo Access:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on Privacy.
- Select Photos.
- If CapCut doesn't appear here, it's possible the app hasn't requested permission correctly or there's a glitch.
To reset permissions, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the CapCut app:
- Long press on the CapCut app icon and select Delete App.
- Reinstall CapCut from the App Store.
- Open CapCut and attempt to grant permissions again when prompted.
Restart Your Device:
- Sometimes, restarting your device can resolve permission-related issues too.
- Turn off your device and turn it back on, then try to open CapCut and grant the necessary permissions.
Update Your Device and App:
- Ensure your device’s operating system is up to date by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Check if there is an update available for CapCut in the App Store and update the app if needed.
