SMTP settings with a custom domain? I use a CRM and am trying to set up the SMTP settings to send email from it with my custom domain email. The settings will not allow me to use my custom domain email address to log into the SMTP server, but it does allow me to use my icloud primary email address to log in. The issue with this is that now my outgoing email comes from the primary address, rather than my custom domain. I can successfully log into my icloud account via icloud.com using my custom domain email address, so it seems that I should be able to do the same via SMTP. Is there a step that I'm missing somewhere? Not sure if it matters, but the domain was purchased through GoDaddy. Thanks in advance.

Custom Domain Apple Mail I setup a custom domain for Apple Mail, and am able to send emails. But, I can't receive email for some reason. They don't show up when logged into my iCloud account online, or on my phone or computer.

Can't send from custom domain email I have an iCloud account with the primary email from GMail. I've registered an iCloud email address with it, but it's new. I've added a custom domain and am able to receive mails on the registered custom domain addresses. I can't see either of them in the "from" field when sending mail. This is on both my MacBook M1 Pro Ventura 13.4 and my iPhone. Will try my iPad next. I've waited a day and no change. My next guess is to change my Apple ID email address to the iCloud address above, but don't want to unless it's the reason why I can't do the above. This is the same as experienced here, except my Mac is already updated: Custom email domain: email not available … - Apple Community Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi Dawn,

If you're using Apple Mail via an Apple device then nothing to do.

If you're using a another email client then I'm guessing the same IMAP/SMTP details as documented.

iCloud Mail server settings for other email client apps - Apple Support

You will need to generate an 'app-specific password' for the client beforehand.
