How do I stop my contact card from being shared?

Why is the contact card now assigned by apple id and the phone number.


for years me and my husband have had one Apple ID and not experienced any issues. Now my contact id is being shared across multiple devices.


even if I switch off the contact card it is still being shared

It might seem unhelpful, but you DO need to stop sharing a common AppleID.


There have been a few security-related changes in the last decade.
