How do I retrieve a deleted photo

Deleted photos are stored in the Recently Deleted Folder for 30-35 days after which they are automatically and permanently deleted.

Tap to open Photos

Tap Albums at the bottom of the screen

Tap Recently Deleted

You can restore any photos from Recently Deleted. If the photos that you are looking for are not there, the photos were deleted more than 30-35 days ago and cannot be recovered.

Manually deleting photos and videos from the Recently Deleted album is another way to cause them to become permanently deleted.
