Here in Gothenburg Sweden they start having a 4G Mobil broadband network. However, my provider told me that the 4G iPhone cannot use this 4G network. Is this true? I thought that this phone was 4G ready?
Seems to me that EVERY possible carrier, in the U.S.A. is now offering 4G network capabilities. I understand about Apple wanting to wait until there is a "standard" but hey APPLE, I own stock in you so you can DEVELOP the PERFECT 4G network! Get on it! Apple is revolutionary, let's knock it out!

Sure they are:
The closet thing your gonna get here in the US to 4G on an iPhone 4/4S on AT&T and it isn't even real 4G. They can reach download speeds up to 7.2 mbps for the iPhone 4 and 14.4 mbps for the 4S. Verizon and Sprint can't even come close because they use CDMA technology that has the possibilty to reach a MAX of 3.0 mbps, but there probably won't a day to come where you will come close to that. (I have a Verizon iPhone 4 and the fastest speeds i have ever gotten, and i was even right next to a Verizon tower, was 2.13 mbps)
I upgraded my AT&T 4S to IOS 5.1 earlier today. It now shows 4G for the data connection in upper left corner of screen vs 3G on IOS 5.0.1.
Speed test in Burbank at 5pm rush hour showed 6.2 Mbps/0.76 Mbps.
Is is really using 4G or just 3G with a new label?????
Time will tell
