Why do I need to ask a new question?

Seems just about every time I have a question there appears to be several other people with the same problem. I navigate to find the proposed solution/s and/or advice and instead of displaying the answer either a non answer with no useful information has been deemed “the answer” or the solutions a supposed link to the “answer” which either is another non answer or in fact not an answer and usually a dead end that says this question has been closed yadda yadda yadda..which seems to me to be a lot of wasted time and effort putting this all together if essentially it actually serves no purpose. Why is this the case? Why close questions at all? Why are answers not readily and easily accessible? If a civilian with little to no functioning knowledge of the technology can recognize information that useful vs wasted effort sprawled out to appear as though it were an answer but in fact contains no useful information why would people who do have experience and knowledge as well as a hand in running the show here allow this to be the standard? I find it a bit concerning that I feel the need to point out how immensely useful this community could be, if it were used the way it was intended and i don’t understand why that doesn’t seem to be the case. Thoughts?

With each new update in OS software, it has a potential to make any previous post no longer applicable. There are some solutions that have been provided in the past that are no longer applicable. That will always be the case in the ever changing world of technology. It still is not a bad idea to review previous questions that are similar to yours for an answer, but for the most accurate information it is best to ask a new question.
